Ordering Information
How do I order a gift arrangement?
You can order by e-mail at order@giftedimpressions.com or by telephone at (613) 863-1609. Please don't hesitate to leave us a voice message - we will respond as soon as possible. We also check our e-mail frequently throughout the day.

Can I place my order over the phone?
You certainly can - you may not always reach us, but please leave a voice message, and we will return your call as soon as possible. In your voice message, you can identify which one of our orders you would like and the approximate price. We will always call you back to confirm so please make sure to leave us a phone number where we can contact you, or, if you prefer, your e-mail address.

Pricing on the WWW site is shown as "From $XX". How do I know what my gift is going to cost?
Most of our gift arrangements can be designed at a variety of prices - the price we have shown on our WWW site is, in most cases, the minimum cost for that particular theme. As you add more items to a gift, the price will increase accordingly. When we contact you to confirm the order, we will discuss the price and what you can expect to see included at different price levels. In some cases, as the price increases, we will include larger quantities but similar items.

When do you make the gift arrangement?
We make all of our gift baskets at the time they are ordered - this ensures the best quality product for you.

Can I specify a message for a gift card?
Absolutely - we would be pleased to enclose a personal, handwritten note for you. If you place your order by e-mail, please include the message you would like us to include with your gift.

Does Gifted Impressions charge sales tax?
Provincial sales tax is charged on all gifts shipped within Ontario; no PST is charged on gift arrangements shipped outside of Ontario. In addition, GST is charged on all gifts shipped within Canada; GST is not charged on arrangements shipped outside Canada.


Credit Card Transactions and Payment Options
What methods of payment do you accept?
Visa, MasterCard and American Express. We are not able to take personal cheques, but, under certain circumstances, we are able to accept corporate cheques - please give us a call if you wish to be invoiced to a corporate account.

When do you charge my credit card?
Your credit card is charged on the day your gift is shipped or delivered.

How do I get a copy of an invoice for my order?
You will receive a sales receipt by mail with a copy of your credit card charge slip.

Do you include an invoice with the gift items?
No, we do not include any invoices or packing slips with gift orders.


Custom Orders and Options
What if I want to change a few items in a basket or arrangement?
Never a problem - we are committed to making sure you get the gift you want. Our online suggestions are "suggestions only".

Can I request a custom gift arrangement?
You certainly can - we are always pleased to create a gift that will meet your individual needs and budget. We are constantly changing our inventory and may be able to suggest something that has just arrived and hasn't yet been added to our WWW site.

What if you are out of an item, will you substitute?
Yes, sometimes that is the best solution. If we are out of a particular item, we will only substitute an item of equal or greater value and similar in nature without compromising the overall theme, color and quality of the gift arrangement. Baskets and containers may also vary.


Shipping and Delivery Information
After I order, how long does it take to ship/deliver the gift arrangement?
To ensure customer satisfaction and the "freshest of product", we don't premake our gift baskets. Once we have received an order from you, we will have the arrangement ready to ship within one business day under normal circumstances. During busy holiday seasons, we will endeavour to keep this promise, but we cannot guarantee it.

Will I receive a shipment confirmation including a tracking number?
Yes. On the day your gift is shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation e-mail that includes your tracking number.

When will my gift arrive?
Arrival time will depend upon the shipping method selected when your order is placed. Don't hesitate to order your gift in advance to give us a better opportunity to ensure your gift arrives on that special day whether it's a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion. Please feel free to order in advance - we'll be more than happy to help with your surprise!

How much does shipping cost?
We do not post shipping costs on our website for a variety of reasons. The cost of shipping is greatly dependent upon the turnaround time, weight and the distance travelled. There are many shipping options and solutions available, and we will investigate the best mode of delivery to ensure your gift arrives safely and on time. If requested, we will advise you of the approximate shipping costs prior to shipment.

What if I need several of the same basket sent to different addresses?
No problem. You provide us with the necessary shipping information, and we'll be happy to look after the rest.

How is local delivery handled in the Ottawa region?
Local delivery is handled by local messenger services, and cost varies depending on distance and how quickly the delivery must be made.


Privacy, Guarantee and Refund Policies
What is Gifted Impression’s privacy policy?
We treat all the information provided to us as confidential, and we will not disclose or sell this information to any other parties.

What if I’m not happy with my order?
We will do everything possible to ensure you are fully satisfied, but, in the unfortunate circumstance that we are unable to do so, we will ask you to return your purchase within ten (10) business days in original condition, and Gifted Impressions will issue a full refund (not including Shipping and Handling charges) on the credit card originally charged.
